What Is Whole-Body EMS?

EMS stands for electrical muscle stimulation. A specially designed suit delivers controlled electrical impulses to selected muscle groups while the intensity is individually adjusted.

Depending on your chosen experience, EMS can be combined with guided exercise or used during a more relaxed, lower-movement session.

Every session will be delivered one-to-one and adapted to your comfort, experience and goals.

FAQs

What is EMS?

EMS stands for electrical muscle stimulation. A specially designed suit delivers controlled electrical impulses to selected muscle groups. Depending on the chosen experience, this may be combined with guided exercise or used in a slower-paced, lower-movement session.

Which EMS experience should I choose?

Active EMS Training is for clients wanting a guided workout combining movement with muscle stimulation.

EMS Body Toning offers a lower-movement, beauty-focused muscle-activation experience.

EMS Recovery provides a slower-paced experience focused on relaxation and general post-exercise wellbeing.

If you’re unsure, Vera can help you select the most appropriate option after reviewing your goals and screening information.

Is EMS suitable for beginners?

Yes, previous EMS experience is not required. Every new client will receive an introduction, and the stimulation will begin gradually according to individual comfort, feedback and suitability.

Does EMS hurt?

EMS should feel noticeable, but it should not be painful. The intensity will be introduced progressively and adjusted according to your feedback. You must immediately report pain, dizziness, feeling unwell or unusual discomfort.

Who should not participate in EMS?

EMS is not suitable for everyone. According to the equipment manufacturer, EMS must not be used by people with:

  • Active medical implants

  • Epilepsy

  • Pregnancy

  • Severe or arterial circulatory disorders

  • Bleeding disorders or strong bleeding tendencies, including haemophilia

  • Abdominal-wall or inguinal hernia

  • Tuberculosis

  • Tumour diseases

  • Advanced arteriosclerosis

  • Severe neurological disorders

  • Diabetes mellitus

  • Fever or febrile illness

  • Acute bacterial or viral infections

  • Liver disease

All clients must complete health and contraindication screening before participating. If you have another medical condition, take medication or are uncertain about your suitability, medical clearance may be required.

When will bookings and pricing be available?

Bookings will open after the equipment has arrived and the final session procedures have been confirmed. Join the EMS Enquiry & Founding Member List to receive pricing, launch offers and priority booking updates.
